All corrections to formulas are given in TeX-Code which is hopefully readable for everybody. If you have any questions or found an error which is not already on this page, please send us an Email.

The description of the images on the title page is missing. The description is actually on page 79, where the same diagrams appear. They are a comparison of standard and optimized fan beam geometry. Please note that the diagram, like almost all in the book, were produced using XFIG, a powerful, portable tool for creating vector images. It's free to download from www.xfig.org. Thanks to everyone who was involved in creating this. Note that the particular drawings in the book have been created using a simplistic C-interface to xfig. Together with the source that creates the images and all of the xfig original drawings, it's available for download on the Programs-page.
Page 34, equation 2.46: Insert $r^{n-1}$ in front of the integral.
Page 35, line 5 from bottom: Replace the square root with $(2\pi)^{(n-1)/2$, to make the equation work for $n\not =2$.
Page 35, equation 2.48: Replace $-n/2$ in the exponent by $1-n$.
Page 48, equation 3.19: The equation should be multiplied by $|f|$ to make sense, so $1/f$ should be deleted on the left hand side and the right hand side should read $k^2|f|$.
Page 49, last 4 lines: In three occurances, read \sqrt{2}k instead of \sqrt{2k}. This can easily be seen from the diagram on page 50: The distance of the center of the circle from the origin is k, the distance of the position where the dotted and straight lines meet from the center is also k, so Pythagoras gives \sqrt{2}k for the distance of the position from the origin.
Page 50, figure 3.7: The circle should meet the origin.
Page 105, line 9 from bottom: $\xi$ must be replaced by $\xi_1$.
Page 132, line 10 from bottom: Delete $d\lambda$.
